If you do a search in the internet, there are lots of information about the Korean alphabets or characters- Hangul 한글. So, I’m not going to add more information to that. Instead, in the spirit of this blog, this is a video about Hangeul.

There are many sites that teach how to read and pronounce Hangeul (한글, Korean characters). I have listed sites which provide easy-to-use audio and video guide. Please let me know if there are more interesting Hangul teaching sites.

Korean keyboard sticker (DIY)
Use the above image for a free DIY kit for sticking Korean fonts onto your keyboard. All you need is a printer and a scotch tape. Or you can just write your own fonts and paste them on your keyboard.
Korean Typing Practice
This site provides Korean typing practice. It is good for beginners as you can learn to type the words at your own pace. The keys highlighted in blue are the ones being practiced.
Click 자리연습 if you want to practice typing the key. Click 단어연습 if you want to practice typing a proper word. This site seems to ONLY WORK ON INTERNET EXPLORER. ㅜㅜ Click image to go to site. You would need to add Korean fonts function to your keyboard.
Once, you have mastered the key positions, you can advance to simple words, phrases and sentences.
For mac-friendly typing practice, there's 타자왕 (Typing King) seen here above.
엔젤타자왕 (Angel Typing King) is a game that is found in junior naver, which means that it's actually designed for kids. But this is a fun game for advanced korean typist. You have to type in a limited time and it is not easy, but surely fun.
Korean Language Learning Sites
Currently, there are a few Korean language sites which include videos, audio, games to practice to Korean. Some of these are done by organizations and are very organized and syllable-based. The problem is most of these sites are not easy to find or information not easy to get. So, I have organized these sites such that the particular information you want to find can be easily obtained. Now, I only am working on two sites: 1) Sogang and 2) TeenKorean. I will add more later, please email me if you have other useful sites.

How to use?
1) Search for the Korean word, phrase, grammar or expression in the search blog space located on the left corner of this page.
For example, if you are curious what 게요 means, just type in 게요 and click search blog.
2) A list of blog postings containing 게요 will be shown. Click the link in blue and it will take you to the Korean Language learning site for that word.
